Miguel Dakota is a soulful singer/songwriter based out of Denver, Colorado. In 2014, Miguel was a finalist on Season 9 of America’s Got Talent.

Miguel’s first encounters with music came at an early age. His parents brought him to the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival at just 10 days old. These were the beginnings of a love affair with music. At age 11, Miguel received his first guitar and began learning to play and sing. By 13, he began to write songs of his own.
Dakota was invited to audition for America’s Got Talent in the fall of 2013. He then made it to the finale of the show in the fall of 2014. Shortly after, Miguel independently released his debut album “Love and Freedom”.
Since then, Miguel has fronted the indie-rock band, Dream Feed, with high school mates Ryan Wagner and Brian Nolan and bassist Will Gaines. Their sound is infectious and up-lifiting! Their music draws on the soulful sounds of the funk and blues rock of the 70’s and adds in meaningful and storied lyrics, all while maintaining a modern feel. The band released their self-titled debut in September of 2018. The band currently tours and performs in and around Colorado and across the country.

I started cooking BBQ about 13 years ago for friends and family.  Everyone kept asking why I didn’t open my own place.
Well now that I am getting closer to retirement age I wanted something to keep me busy, so I figured “What the heck, I’ll open a concession trailer. So here I am still working a regular job and getting ready to run a concession trailer on my days off. I love to share my love for BBQ with others. I cook the meats and my wife does the side dishes , we make a good team.
