This free concert is brought to you by the Grand Junction Centennial band. Although admission is free, we do ask for you to donate to help support the Centennial Band. You are welcome to bring a lawn chair or blanket to insure a seat as well as an umbrella for shade. We ask that you do not bring outside food and that you support the food trucks. Lastly, no outside alcohol is allowed on the property.
The Grand Junction Centennial Band is an all-volunteer organization comprised of over sixty Western Colorado-area men and women dedicated to making a unique musical and cultural contribution to our community presenting concerts in the Great American Band tradition. The band was formed over 35 years ago.
We perform several free concerts during the summer in local parks as well as at many area festivals. During our formal concert season we typically perform three or four concerts FREE to the public. We are extremely happy to have the privilege of performing our formal concerts at the Historic Avalon Theater in Downtown Grand Junction.
